The Reserve Bank of India has released the list of holidays for July 2022. According to this, banks will be closed for a total of 14 days in July. However, this is not a one day holiday in the whole country and the list of these holidays is issued according to the festivals celebrated in different states. July 1: Kang (Rathyatra) / Rathyatra - Banks closed in Bhubaneswar-Imphal

July 3: Sunday (weekly holiday)

5th July: Tuesday - Jupiter Hargovind Singh Ji's Light Day - Jammu and Kashmir

July 7: Kharchi Puja - Banks closed in Agartala

July 9: Saturday (second Saturday of the month), Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid)

July 10: Sunday (weekly holiday)

July 11: Eid-ul-Azha - Banks closed in Jammu and Srinagar

July 13: Bhanu Jayanti - Banks closed in Gangtok

July 14: Ben D'Nakhlam - Banks closed in Shillong

July 16: Bank closed in Harela-Dehradun

July 17: Sunday (weekly holiday)

July 23: Saturday (4th Saturday of the month)

Note : There are several regional holidays, and they may vary from state to state and bank to bank.

As per the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) schedule of occasions, banks will be shut a sum of 17 days in the long stretch of July 2022. Other than that, the banks are shut on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month.
